We are a small, family-owned business made up of strong, determined people living with many disabilities. Life has not been easy for our family—but through every challenge, we’ve found a way to keep going. And in 2023, we finally found a way to share a piece of our healing with the world.

M&N’s Artisan Shop was born out of love, hardship, and over a decade of passion for natural, handcrafted goods. From soothing soaps to luxurious body butters and calming candles, every product we make carries part of our story, our strength, and our hope.

Our Story​​

​Our journey began long before we opened our virtual doors in 2023. Since 2010, we’ve been learning, researching, and experimenting with natural ingredients and wellness practices. Creating products became both a form of therapy and a creative outlet that gave us purpose.

But our path has been anything but easy. We’ve faced deep, life-changing loss and pain:

  • In 2021, the eldest daughter was tragically killed in a hit-and-run accident.

  • Two years later, the youngest son was in a major car crash during a brutal winter storm.

  • The second youngest daughter lives daily with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), and autism.

  • The second eldest daughter endured spinal surgery in 2025 and also lives with POTS and Fibromyalgia.

  • The mother of the family carries long-term effects from nerve damage, heart complications from electrocution while working at Pizza Hut, and painful disc degeneration.

Despite these overwhelming challenges, we are also raising five children, several of whom are autistic and live with various mental health conditions. Like so many families, we’re doing our best to survive—and to give our kids a future.

M&N’s Artisan Shop is our attempt to create that future. It's not just a business; it’s our lifeline. A way for our family to work from home, support one another, and hopefully create an income that makes survival possible.
